Dehradun. Cow has a lot of importance in Indian culture because it has been feeding us. Many people also see cow dung as a means of employment. Such is the story of Pawan Thapa and his family. Actually, this is a family of Dehradun which makes incense sticks, idols and temples from cow dung. 10 to 12 women are associated with them who are getting employment. All these people together earn 4 to 5 lakh rupees annually. Apart from India, their products are also being exported to other countries like Malaysia, London.

Giving information to Local 18, Pawan Thapa told that he was fond of doing something creative since childhood. Talking about cow dung, his parents used to make cow dung cakes. Since then he thought that he would do something new using cow dung. He used to work in a tour and travel company but lost his job during Covid, then Pawan Thapa chose his skill as his employment. He had decided to make something from cow dung but he did research for one and a half years to find out how to make it.
