New Criminal Laws: Three new criminal laws are being implemented across the country from July 1, such preparations are in place in Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand is fully prepared for the fact that on July 1st, three new criminal laws will go into effect nationwide. From IPS officers to the police personnel involved in the investigation of cases, proper training has been given regarding the new laws. This information was given by Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi in a meeting chaired by the Union Home Secretary through video conferencing on Tuesday.

Under this, in coordination with Central Detective Training Institute and Bureau of Police Research and Development, 50 officers from PTC, ATC and other training centers have been given master trainer course from Ghaziabad and Jaipur. Along with Chief Secretary Raturi, Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar, Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, and other officials of the Home Department, they also participated in the meeting held with all the states.

Booklets and online training to read the laws in an easy way
The Chief Secretary said that to easily explain the new laws, Uttarakhand Police handbook has been prepared, on the basis of which all the courses are being conducted. A copy of this is being distributed to all police officers and personnel. Apart from this, training has also been given at the district level. Such employees who do not have direct involvement in police investigations have been given training in online mode. For this, an online module has been prepared, which is based on AI.
Gave training to one thousand constables and 500 head constables
The Chief Secretary said that about 1 thousand newly recruited constables of the Civil Police, PAC, have been given 3-day training regarding the new laws, and 500 chief constables have been given training on new criminal laws for promotion. In this regard, registration of all police personnel has been done on the iGot Karmayogi portal.
