Selaqui police station police arrested a smuggler from Bihar with 264 grams of hashish. A case was registered against the accused under the NDPS Act and he was presented before the court, from where he was sent to jail. Station in-charge Selaqui Shanky Kumar said that the police team was patrolling the area. During this, a suspicious youth was seen roaming near the Dhulkot forest. When the policemen searched him, 264 grams of hashish was found from him. The youth has been identified as Pramod Sahni, a resident of Pachwara police station area of Darbhanga district of Bihar. During interrogation, he told that he is currently living in Shivnagar Basti of Selaqui. The station in-charge said that two cases were registered against the accused under the NDPS Act last year as well.
