Junior doctor found dead at top Kolkata hospital; Family, Opposition allege rape, murder

Officials said that the CBI has already filed a First Information Report based on the police's FIR, which was filed under the provisions of murder and rape. The CBI has already received the case file from the Kolkata police.
After initial investigation and examination of the CCTV cameras installed on the hospital premises, Kolkata Police arrested a civic volunteer, identified as Sanjay Roy, who later admitted to his crime

The accused had drink with a patient's relative prior to the crime.
Later, he went into the hospital's lecture hall where the victim was sleeping.
As per the criminal timeline, he left the hall around forty-five minutes later.
