The term “religious people” can refer to any individual who is deeply committed to practicing a particular religion or spirituality. This could include priests, pastors, monks, nuns, imams, rabbis, gurus, or any individual who actively participates in religious rituals, teachings, and communities. The specific religious person would depend on the context of the

question or conversation.There have been many religious figures throughout history.There are scholars from various faith traditions, such as Christianity,islam, Judaism,hinduism, Buddhism, etc.Each religion has its own faith and leaders. Hindus go to temple, Christians go to church,Muslims go to mosque, and Sikhs go to Gurudwara.

Holi

Holi is the festival of colours. It is a popular and significant Hindu festival that celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. Every spring, people across India and around the world celebrate the Hindu festival of Holi,throwing colored water and powders on one another in joy.

DUSSEHRA

It is also known as Vijayadashami, is an important festival for Hindus.It marks the victory of good over evil.On this day,Lord Ram is said to have defeated and killed the demon king Ravana.This epic battle symbolizes the victory of good and truth over evil and deceit.

DIWALI

It symbolizes the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.People decorate their homes with lights,flowers and rangoli,wear new clothes and exchange gifts .Special prayers are offered to Goddess Lakshmi for prosperity.Diyas are ;it to signify hope and lights victory.

Ganesh Chaturthi

It is a fun-filled festival in honour of lord ganesha.people all over india thoroughly enjoy it.It spreads joy and unites people all over.lasting for 11 days,the festival begins on the fourth day of the waxing moon in the hindu month of bhadrapada.

RAMADAN

It is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and the holiest month.Observing Ramadan is regarded as one of the five pillars of Islam.

EID UL FITR

It marks the end of Ramadan ,the muslim holy month of fasting,and is celebrated during the first three days of shawwal,the 10th month of the islamic calendar .it is a time of official receptions and private visits ,when friends greet one another ,presents are given,new clothes are worn,and the graves of relatives are visited .

MUHARRAM

It is one of the most significant festivals celebrated by the Muslim community in India, as it marks the beginning of the Islamic new year.it is the first month of the islamic calendar and the second 

HOLA MOHALLA

It is one of the five pillars of Islam,and all Muslims are required to undertake it at least once in their lives if they are physically and financially able to do so.For the pilgrims, it is a profound spiritual experience that wipes away sins,brings them closer to God, and highlights Muslim unity.

VAISAKHI 

It is the most important festival for Sikhs.It is also written as Baisakhi.It is a harvest festival that shows gratitude. Vaisakhi commemorates the anniversary of when Guru Gobind Singh formalized membership in the Sikh religion in the initiating rites.in Punjab it is celebrated as the birth of the Khalsa brotherhood

GURPURAB

It is commemoration of the anniversary of important events in each of the ten gurus.On this day, Guru Nanak was born in Nakana Sahib,now situated in Pakistan.Every year, Sikhs celebrate this day on a large scale. From Vaisakhi to Gurpurab, these Sikh festivals are a vibrant display of faith, unity, and joy.

BANDI CHHOR DIVAS

It celebrates the day when guru Hargobind was released from imprisonment and welcomed home to Amritsar by thousands of lights Sikhs celebrate this festival,, which historically takes place at the same time as Diwali. It is the festival of lights, which symbolises that good overcomes bad.

It is one of the major Christian festivals.the word Christmas is formed from two words.Christ which means  the messiah or the anointed one and mass which borrowed from the Roman Catholics.it is a traditionally a Christian festival celebrating the birth of Jesus,but in the early 20th century,it also became a secular family holiday,observed by Christians and non-Christians alike.it is celebrated on the 25th of December every year.

GOOD FRIDAY

Good Friday, the Friday before Easter.the day on which Christians annually observe the commemoration of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.From the early days of Christianity, Good Friday was observed as a day of sorrow, penance, and fasting, a characteristic that finds expression in the German word Karfreitag (sorrowful Friday).

EASTER

It is the most festive event of the Christians celebrated all over the world.it falls on a Sunday .it signifies the remembrance of Jesus Christ resurrecting from death after his crucifixion as we have all read in the Bible.The major followers of Christianity in India ,fall n the states of Mumbai,Meghalaya and Nagaland .the churches are decorated and filled with cheer and joy during this time of the year.Easter is known for its symbolic Easter bunny and decorative eggs.
